Here's a video our pipe supplier put together that shows our emergency culvert repair. New pipe was inserted into the existing culvert and grouted in place.
Imperial county mud pot
Excavation and stabilization of HWY 111. A "mud pot" that is moving threatens the highway, a detour had to be built until the mud pot passes under the 111.
HWY 78 failure
A 100 year storm came through and flowed over the top of the highway and caused the failure of the culvert underneath. Video shows the aftermath while the water drained. We worked 90 hours straight to make the repair before the Labor Day holiday.
